Hiriya Recycling Park aims to provide the most effective and sustainable solutions for waste management and municipal waste treatment for the cities of the Greater Tel Aviv region. Operated by the Dan Region Association of Towns for Sanitation, the park is committed to developing advanced, innovative waste management systems that work in synergy and are tailored to meet the specific needs of each municipality.
As the site continues to grow and expand, the focus remains clear:
Reduce landfill waste, increase waste diversion for recycling and energy recovery and promote scalable solutions aligned with circular economy principles.
The Association is also dedicated to fostering public engagement on waste and consumption habits through the activities of the Hiriya Environmental Education Center. By opening the park to visitors from Israel and abroad, Hiriya encourages an open dialogue on responsible consumption, waste reduction, and environmental awareness.
